On behalf of the TEDxAuckland organising team, thank you for coming along to the 2012 event! As you’ll know, we filled the Aotea Centre and the buzz in the room was incredible. Despite there being over 2,000 people in the room, you were anything but intimidating and made the speakers feel completely welcome. We hope you had a fantastic day.
As TED is about ideas worth spreading, we want to keep the spirit of sharing alive even though the 2012 event has ended. Videos for Michelle Dickinson and Andrew Patterson are now available online and we’ll be posting clips of other speakers shortly, so be sure to revisit your favourite talks and share them with your friends.
This year’s TEDxAuckland was all about getting the platform right – great speakers with great ideas, professionally presented. Next year we’re going to build on that and we are looking for people to be involved in helping us organise TEDxAuckland 2013. Our Facebook page will be the heart of this, so keep an eye on it for updates.
In addition, if you know someone with a great idea who could be a speaker at our next event (or if you are doing some great things yourself), let us know by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
Thank you again. You helped create an unforgettable day. We really couldn’t have done it without you.
